Co-Curricular Activities
Our Co-Curricular Activities Program (CCA) reflects an alignment with our academic goals and school’s character development focus. This program highlights the importance of enrichment as an extension of classroom learning.
Each Co-Curricular Activity is purposefully designed with clear goals and meaningful outcomes. Whether reinforcing academic learning, developing leadership skills, promoting community engagement, encouraging creative exploration, or celebrating student talents, each offering will contribute to a well-rounded and enriching experience beyond the classroom. Our CCA program is organized into distinct categories that reflect this vision and support the diverse interests and needs of students across all grade levels:
-
Athletics - Seasonal team and individual sports that promote physical fitness, discipline, and teamwork across grade levels.
-
Cornerstone CCAs - Activities directly aligned with academic subjects or school initiatives. These offerings support students in deepening their understanding of curricular content through focused, guided experiences.
-
Extended Co-Curriculars - Opportunities for students to expand their academic interests beyond the classroom such as competitions, research-based clubs, advanced study, and enrichment programs.
-
Exploratory Co-Curriculars - A space for students to discover new passions, pursue personal interests, and take creative or entrepreneurial risks. These offerings often include arts, design, culture, media, and innovation.
Our CCA program is provided by SJA Jeju teachers and assistant teachers. CCAs run for an average of 9 weeks in each season, from 15:30 to 16:15 Monday through Thursday. We leave Friday open for travel and time with family.
Co-Curricular Activities - KINDERGARTEN
5 year old children may select two activities per week/session.
Co-Curricular Activities - PRE-KINDERGARTEN
3 and 4 year olds do not participate in after school activities. The school day is long for our littlest ones. Afterschool can be used for further family time, rest and unstructured play.
