After School Activities

SJA Jeju proudly offers a wide range of activities to its students after school hours. The After School Activities program is tailored around five main areas (sports, recreation, service, co-curricular and fine arts), which ensures both the physical and the mental development and the well-being of our students.

After School Activities (ASAs) are provided by SJA Jeju Teachers and Assistant Teachers. ASAs run for an average of 9 - 10 weeks in each session, from 15:30 to 16:15 Monday through Thursday. We leave Friday open for travel and time with family.

SchoolsBuddy is an online system that we use for our after school activities sign-up system for students and parents. Sign-ups are done digitally and parents receive their child’s ASA calendar schedule through an app on their phone. This program helps registration run smoothly and allows parents to make a decision about their child’s after school activities with the most up-to-date information.  

On days when children participate in after school activities, it is highly recommended that parents send an additional snack to ensure energy levels are sufficient.

After School Activities - GRADES K-5
Students in grades 1-5 may select activities all year. It is recommended that grade one students select only one or two activities per week/session. Kindergarten students are allowed to choose one activity per week/session.
