Meet the Director of Athletics and CCAs

Welcome to St. Johnsbury Academy Jeju. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our programs and the values that guide everything we do. 

At SJA Jeju, we believe learning extends beyond the classroom. Through athletics and our diverse co-curricular programs, students develop character, build lasting relationships, discover new passions, and grow into confident  leaders. Whether competing on the field, performing on stage, serving the community, or exploring a new interest, every student deserves an environment that challenges, supports, and inspires them to grow.

Our programs are grounded in SJA's core values of Character, Inquiry, and Community.

Character is built through daily choices. We strive to develop students who demonstrate integrity, resilience, humility, and respect. While we celebrate success, we believe the true measure of achievement is not the scoreboard, but the person each student becomes through showing consistent effort, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

Inquiry teaches us that growth comes from embracing challenges. In athletics, competition is not about proving we are better than someone else, but rather about the process of uncovering what we are truly capable of. Across all co-curricular experiences, students learn by taking risks, reflecting on setbacks, and trusting the process. These lessons extend far beyond school and prepare students for a lifetime of learning.

Community is the foundation of every team, club, and activity. Our programs bring together students with diverse talents and interests, united by shared goals and mutual respect. We strive to create an inclusive environment where every student feels valued, every voice is heard, and every participant contributes to a culture of belonging.

My vision is to build athletic and co-curricular programs that inspire students to pursue excellence while discovering their passions and developing the confidence to lead. Whether on the field, in a club meeting, or through service and the arts, our greatest success will be measured by our students willingness to embrace challenges, support others, and continually pursue their best selves.
