Our "home school" St. Johnsbury Academy, a U.S. comprehensive independent day and boarding school, hosted a "SJA Alumni Night" at Intercontinental Seoul Coex on March 25.

More than 30 alumni attended the event designed to "boost the growing Korean alumni network and strengthen relations between the alumni and the American Homeschool.," said John Cummings, who is the Associate Headmaster of Admissions and Advancement. SJA Jeju Head of School Bradley Ashley, Head of Secondary Peter Toscano, Head of Elementary Stacy Molnar and a group of SJA Jeju team members were also present.

With a beautiful view from the sky lounge, the evening gave participants a chance to catch up with old friends, make new ones and celebrate new opening of SJA Jeju in the Global Education City, Jeju-do. "I am very excited SJA will be in Jeju this year. I believe it will become the most prestigious school in Jeju inspired by the mission of our homeschool, my alma mater.," said Dawon Lee, an alumna who works on the SJA Jeju Admission Team.
